  • Are your bags brand names?

Most of our bags are good quality leather without the cost of brand names. They are made in Morocco and Italy and I import them to the U.S. You might find words like VERA PELLE which means REAL LEATHER and/or BORSE IN PELLE which means LEATHER BAGS. In other bags, you might find the traditional symbol of Florence (the fleur-de-lis) which is not a brand but confirms the origin of the products. We carry Carbotti which is a distinctly Italian brand that is desired by Italians and Americans alike. Carbotti bags are identified by their brand name somewhere on the bag.

 

  • Are all of your bags genuine leather?

All of our bags are made of genuine leather. You will find the words MADE IN ITALY OR GENUINE LEATHER inside our bags. Sometimes these words are in Italian like VERA PELLE which means REAL LEATHER and/or BORSE IN PELLE which means LEATHER BAGS.

 

 

  • How do I get a discount coupon code?

Discount coupon codes are provided at different times throughout the year to customers who are on our mailing list. Check back often, at times we have promotional offers on our web site. You can sign up for our mailing list on the “Contact Us” page of our website.

 

  • Can I exchange my bag for another after I have placed my order?

Yes, as long as you contact us via email before your order is shipped. Please provide your order number and specify the item you want to exchange so we can determine if we have the new item available.

In some cases your desired item will be out of stock. We will need to confirm with the vendor if the item is available. If it is, it will typically take 2 – 4 weeks to receive the item from our Italian distributor. It the item is not available we can offer you a full refund or give you the option to select another item.

  • Can I exchange my bag for another after I have received my order?

Yes, as long as the item has not been used and all tags are still attached. Contact us via email for a return authorization code and we will provide you with instructions to return your item. Please note you will need to pay the shipping cost to return any items that you have purchased. Once we receive the bag we can exchange it if the requested bag is available. If there is a cost difference we will contact you to process the difference and then ship the bag to you.

  • How do I clean my leather bag?

Mix a solution of warm water and dish soap, dip a soft cloth into it, wring it out and wipe the exterior surfaces of the purse. Use a second clean, damp cloth to wipe off the soap. Dry it with a towel and let it further dry for 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can purchase store bought leather cleaner. Never use baby wipes or alcohol to clean your leather bag.

  • How can I track my order?

When we ship your items we will send you a tracking number so you can track your order.

  • What do I do if I receive the wrong item?

If you receive the wrong item contact us and we will correct the mistake if it was made by us. If you ordered the wrong item then we will work with you to exchange the item.

 

  • Where is your office?

Our sales office is in a Maryland suburb of Washington DC.

  • Do you ship outside the USA?

No, currently we only ship products within the USA.

 

  • Do you store my credit card information?

No, we do not store your credit card information. We use “Square” for credit card processing so we never see your credit card information.
